Books- CRC handbook of chemistry and physics
- A concise guide to a broad range of physical science data. This is the most widely used single-volume reference source for chemistry and physics.
- E-EROS
- Covers both classical reagents and the new 'designer' reagents used in organic chemistry.
- Handbook of hazardous chemical properties
- Information on nearly 700 chemicals of commercial and industrial importance, as well as health (toxicological) and safety handling information.
- Hawley's condensed chemical dictionary
- Compendium of technical data and descriptive information covering thousands of chemicals and chemical phenomena.
- International critical tables of numerical data, physics, chemistry, and technology
- Offers data on physical, thermodynamic, mechanical, and other key properties and is a major reference source for chemistry and related subjects.
- Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology
- The most important encyclopedia for all fields of chemistry. Please note that this is not limited to chemical technology, and that many of the articles cover chemical substances and processes.
- Lange's handbook of chemistry
- A standard reference work for all fields of chemistry. Includes numerical tables, factual tables, and descriptive information about chemicals, chemical processes, and chemical technology.
- Yaws' handbook of thermodynamic and physical properties of chemical compounds
- Physical, thermodynamic and transport properties for 5,000 organic chemical compounds.
Databases- Chemical Abstracts (SciFinder Scholar)
- SciFinder Scholar provides access to the CAplus database of chemical literature and U.S. and foreign chemical-related patents, to CASREACT, to the Registry database from Chemical Abstracts Service, and to Medline. It includes journal articles, book chapters, patents, conference proceedings, technical reports, substance database and dissertations covered in Chemical Abstracts as well as articles currently being indexed, book reviews and biographical information.
- TOXNET
- A cluster of databases on toxicology, hazardous chemicals, and related areas.
- Web of Science
- Includes Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Science Citation Index. Contains the references cited by the authors of the journal articles they cover. A cited reference search enables you to find papers that cite a published work that you already know. In addition to cited reference searching, you can search by topic, author, or title.
EJournals- Accounts of chemical research
- Chembiochem
- Journal of medicinal chemistry
- Journal of molecular biology
- Journal of natural products
- Journal of organic chemistry
- Organic letters
- Tetrahedron
Websites- NIST Chemistry WebBook
- Thermochemical, thermophysical, and ion energetics data compiled by NIST under the Standard Reference Data Program.
- Organic Syntheses Online
- Detailed experimental methods, in a standard format, for the synthesis of organic compounds.
- SDBS: Integrated Spectral database System for Organic Compounds
- Includes 6 different types of spectra under a directory database of the compounds. The spectra are EI mass, 1H decoupled 13C NMR, 1H NMR pattern (90 and/or 400 MHz), 1H NMR parameter (300 MHz pattern generated), FT-IR, laser-Raman, and ESR.
