Dictionary of biology
Contains over 4,700 entries on biology, biophysics, and biochemistry, medicine, palaeontology, and feature articles such as genetically modified organisms.

Encyclopedia of life science
A fully searchable, working editorial site of articles by scientists and scientific historians including the fields of evolution, genetics, and science and society.

Introduction to genetic analysis
Landmark experiments are introduced for genetic analysis. Students analyze the data and draw conclusions as if they had done the research themselves.

Molecular cell biology
Concentrates on the macromolecules and reactions studied by biochemists, the processes described by cell biologists, and the gene control pathways identified by molecular biologists and geneticists.

Wiley encyclopedia of molecular medicine
Comprehensive coverage ranges from the organ to the cell to the molecular and includes extensive cross-referencing.

Databases

BIOSIS previews
Covers original research reports and reviews in biological and biomedical areas. Coverage includes traditional areas of biology, such as botany, zoology and microbiology, as well as related fields such as biomedical, agriculture, pharmacology and ecology. Interdisciplinary fields such as medicine, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering and biotechnology are also included.

CABRI
Database collection of 28 catalogues containing information on animal and human cell lines, bacteria and archaea, fungi and yeasts, plasmids, phages, DNA probes, and plant cells and viruses.

PubMed
MEDLINE is the United States National Library of Medicine's (NLM) premier bibliographic database providing citations to biomedical literature in the following fields: medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, allied health, and the pre-clinical sciences.

Web of Science
Includes Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Science Citation Index. Contains the references cited by the authors of the journal articles they cover.
